Our Story
925 Origins began in Taxco.
Not in an office. Not on a spreadsheet. In a workshop on a cobblestone street in Guerrero, Mexico, where a silversmith had been working the same techniques his father taught him — and his father before that.
Taxco has been Mexico's silver capital for over 400 years. The craft here is not a trend. It is a lineage. Every hammer mark, every oxidized finish, every granulated detail carries the weight of generations.
Why we exist
The American jewelry market is flooded with mass-produced silver — stamped in factories, finished by machine, sold on the basis of price alone. We built 925 Origins to offer something different: direct access to the real thing.
We source every piece ourselves, directly from the artisan's workshop. No middlemen. No importers. No wholesale catalogs. When you order from 925 Origins, you are the next step in a chain that starts with raw silver and ends with a piece that will outlast every trend you have ever followed.
What 925 means
925 is the hallmark of sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver by weight. It is the international standard of quality. Every piece in our collection carries this mark, stamped by hand before it leaves Taxco.
It is not a marketing claim. It is a certification. And we stake our name on it.
The people behind the pieces
We are a small, intentional brand. We do not carry hundreds of SKUs. We carry the pieces we believe in — selected on quality, craftsmanship, and the story behind them.
Every product page on this site includes the specific artisan workshop where the piece was made. Because we believe you deserve to know exactly where your jewelry comes from.
